I love the concept behind the group, and when roleplaying my tough as nails, old as the hills Vigilant Corrick, I just get more into the idea of being a Vigilant of Stendarr. WHERE YOU FIT IN: I've played multiple vigilant characters. Her duties most likely include receiving reports of Daedric activity, and issuing them to a group of vigilants that go out on patrols. Before the events of Dawnguard, the keeper of Skyrim's chapter is Keeper Carcette. We know for a fact each chapter is led by a keeper. However, it seems safe to assume that each province that follows the Imperial pantheon (The Eight/Nine) has a chapter of the Vigil. So the specifics of their order's inner-workings isn't too well known. PRESENT DAY:As it was formed recently, the only game we've encountered these priests is in Skyrim. Donning robes and heavy armor, along with maces and magic, these followers of Stendarr sought out Evil, and crushed it wherever it hid. Unlike most priesthoods the Vigil was more of a militant group. Be it vampires, daedra, spooky skeletons, zombies, necromancers, werewolves, or the wielder of a Daedric Artifact. LORE: Formed after the Oblivion Crisis ravaged Tamriel in 3E 433, the Vigil of Stendarr was created with the purpose to seek out and abolish the threats that loom over mankind. Whether you use the tips or not, hopefully the Vigil don't seem like a bunch of robe clad goodie-goodies anymore.
